Jen Shah is not buying her former costar Jennie Nguyen’s apology.
On Wednesday, January 26, The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star, 48, took to the comment section of a video of her disgraced cast member, 44, to allege that she had lied after Nguyen claimed that a person on her team had put up the racist social media posts and not herself.
“She’s lying and she already admitted to my face she posted each and every one of those disgusting posts HERSELF,” Shah commented.
“The fact she brings a Black man on her IG Live just confirms she has not learned nor is she sorry,” Shah added about Nguyen's apology videothat she filmed with her "best friend" named Michael.
“Performative Slacktivism at its finest,” Shah added, “I hope Jennie can do the real work it will take to grow and change her racist, and islamophobic views.”
After being fired from the Bravo show on Tuesday for the offensive posts from 2020 — Nguyen took to Instagram to address her past controversial social media activity.
“I just want you to understand that, during that time, I had a team of people that [were] helping me. Whether they posted [or] I posted, it doesn’t really matter at this point,” the axxed reality star explained in the live via Page Six. “For me, it’s on my account, and I take full responsibility and accountability for what was posted.”
The insensitive posts — that were shared with the world at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement following the death of George Flyod — contained phrases like “BLM Thugs” and “Violent Gangs."
“I know I hurt a lot of people. My viewpoint during that time in 2020 was emotional, and it brings back a lot of memories during that time when we went through such a tragic, terrible year,” Nguyen said.
“I want you to understand that my political stance, I still support that. I’m very proud to be a Republican," the former housewife emphasized. "I am proud to be able to say I have the freedom of speech, too, and to have an opinion.”
