Last week, we touched that Stellantis recently trademarked the “Ram Revolution” name for “Motor vehicles, namely, passenger trucks.” This morning, more Ram Revolution info has been made official, but to our surprise, it’s not exactly the name of a truck.
What Ram is saying as it stands is that Ram Revolution will serve as an informational hub that aims to educate customers on the upsides of electrification, as well as the brand’s EV ethos, future updates, and unique content.
Ram also debuted a new logo and font in today’s announcement, as seen in the teaser photos above and below.
All official info forthcoming will be available at the RamRevolution.com website. The major highlight of this announcement is that customers will have the opportunity to provide actual input into the development of the upcoming Ram electric pickup truck, scheduled to launch in 2024. In addition to the Ram Revolution website, the Stellantis truck brand is debuting what’s being called the Ram Real Talk Tour, which will be a series of year-long conversations with consumers at various events to better understand what the next generation of Ram Trucks and Vans must do to meet their needs. Ram aims to debut an electric vehicle in “most” of its competitive segments by 2025, and a full EV portfolio for all of its segments no later than 2030.

Ram Revolution EV: First Details
For the record, we still have all the reason to believe that this upcoming electric truck from Ram will eventually become known as the Ram Revolution based on USPTO filings. Last summer’s Stellantis EV Day also delivered on several details that developers are planning for this all electric pickup truck. Those details include the retention of a body-on-frame architecture called STLA Frame, while will house battery packs between the frame rails that will be good enough for 200 kWh and 500 miles of range, with capabilities of charging up to 20 miles per minute.
Ram also previously teased what’s called the REPB truck, or “Range Electric Paradigm Breaker” truck. The project is very locked down at the moment, but judging by its name, there’s a strong likelihood that the Ram REPB truck has something to do with the potential of solid state batteries, as well as reduced ownership costs.
While CEO Carlos Tavares has claimed that electric vehicles are chosen more by politicians than by customers, Stellantis is investing as much as $35 billion USD into electric vehicle programs between 2021 and 2025, and aspires to have 40 percent of its US sales made up of electric vehicles by 2030.
