The Ford Bronco is one of the world’s most capable off-road vehicles. For that reason, it has been trendy among aftermarket companies. As a result, we have gotten to see an assortment of modifications done to the Bronco as customers get their hands on the SUV. However, this is just the beginning for the Ford Bronco, and we’re bound to see even more spectacular builds come as time goes on. One great example of this is a rendering that prepared the Ford Bronco to explore the frozen land and seascape of the Arctic.
The unofficial rendering by Abimelec Design draws inspiration from Arctic Trucks, a company with a reputation for creating some of the most incredible off-roaders meant for exploring the frozen reaches of the world and beyond. The company is likely most well known for building the Toyota Hilux that Top Gear used in its Polar Special back in 2007. However, they have more recently applied their efforts to the 2020 Ford F-150. So, perhaps at some point in the future, we may see the company take their craft to the Ford Bronco, but for now, we can admire the rendering from Abimelec Design.
What If The Ford Bronco Was An Arctic Explorer Truck?
The most notable feature of the Bronco rendering is the set of massive tires that give the vehicle the capability to wade through the deep snow more efficiently. Those are complemented by massive body-colored fender flares that create Sharp, tasteful edges. The arches on the flares enable the fitment of the tires. If the tires are anything like the ones found on the F-150 AT44, then the fender flares aren’t just for show as there’s no way 44-inch tires would be able to fit under the Bronco without the modification. Wider tires distribute the weight more effectively over fragile surfaces and prevent breaching.
The unique front bumper on the Arctic Ford Bronco rendering is complete with a new winch. Meanwhile, Abimelec Design adorned the Bronco in a striking shade of blue that contrasts with the red accents found on the interior and the Bronco badge on the grille.
Should Arctic Trucks get their hands on a Ford Bronco in the future, hopefully they can make sure the top stays sealed from snow.
