The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel is not hiding her feelings about Bravo's bombshell announcement about its brand new reboot of the popular reality show.
Although executive producer Andy Cohen was excited to share the big news to fans of the franchise, Frankel has one word for RHONY 2.0 — boring.
The mom-of-one — she shares daughter Bryn, 11, with ex Jason Hoppy, 51 — took to TikTok on Thursday, March 24, with a video captioned simply: "My thoughts on the #RHONY reboot..."
The reality tv personality donned a fuzzy blue sweater, jeans and a fabulous pair of hot pink heels as she lip synced along to an audio track that said, "It’s a long story, and it’s very f–king boring. Jesus. Like, f–k."
As OK! previously reported, the network announced the new show on Wednesday, March 23, explaining the series will be back with an all-new cast. The channel also plans to launch a second spinoff series set to feature former fan favorite RHONY stars to give viewers the best of both worlds.
"There are thousands of stories to tell here,” Cohen gushed on the sky high potential for the new reboot. "This is the most multicultural, diverse, and energetic and exciting city in America: We are searching for a multicultural group of friends who really best reflect the most exciting city in the country. We’re looking for a group of women who are real friends, and who are of diverse backgrounds, races and religions."
"Our loyal fans have spoken as to what they want to see and what they don’t want to see — and we’ve taken that all into account," he continued of the spinoff. "And this is a series where you’re going to expect to see fan-favorites from the show’s great history."
There is currently no update on whether or not Frankel will be invited to make her grand return to the hit Bravo franchise, or if she would even want to be a part of a new show.
Last August, the New York Times bestselling author shot down rumors that she would be coming back anytime soon, claiming she hasn't even spoken to the network since she quit the show after her eight season run.
