Snoop Dogg joins FaZe Clan as board member and content creator

Rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg will join North American esports organisation FaZe Clan as a board member.

Snoop will also join as a content creator and a member of the FaZe clan talent network. The rapper will reportedly co-create content, participate in business initiatives and launch merchandise with FaZe Clan for the foreseeable future.


Usain Bolt joins Irish esports organisation WYLDE as Co-owner

Irish esports organisation WYLDE has announced that global sports star and Olympic medalist Usain Bolt has joined as its Co-owner.

Bolt will look to support the organisation’s mission to identify, empower and support talent whilst adopting a strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity.


Fnatic bolsters leadership team with four new hires

European esports organisation Fnatic has looked to strengthen its leadership team by appointing four new personnel.

The organisation announced that Craig Edmondson (ex-Premier League) and Nicola Packer (formerly of Dyson) will take over as CCO and General Counsel, respectively. Moreover, Joshua Brill has been named Head of Marketing, with Laura Ashworth-Cape joining the organisation as its new Head of Legal.


Charlotte Kenny appointed as BLAST Premier Managing Director

Esports production company and tournament organiser BLAST has appointed Charlotte Kenny, formerly of Club Affairs, as Managing Director for its BLAST Premier CS:GO esports series.

Kenny’s new role includes leading BLAST Premier’s growth and delivery as the company looks to maintain and enhance production, tournament operations, approach to fan engagement and its commercial portfolio.


Cloakzy joins Complexity Gaming as official creator and part-owner

North American esports organisation Complexity Gaming, a subsidiary of GameSquare Esports, has announced that content creator Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore has joined the organisation as its official creator and part-owner.

As a result, Lepore will host events, produce branded content, create limited-edition merchandise and collaborate on experiences with Complexity athletes and streamers.


Alex Gonzalez named as Head of Luminosity Gaming

Media, gaming and esports companyEnthusiast Gaming has appointed Alex Gonzalez, formerly of RESPAWN Products, as the Head of Luminosity Gaming.

The appointment, which takes place effective immediately, will see Gonzalez oversee all of Luminosity Gaming’s business operations.


G2 Esports hires new Head of Content and Head of Media

European esports organisation G2 Esports has bolstered its backroom operations following the appointment of two new team members.

Sasha Alexandrov, formerly of Beats by Dre, has joined the organisation as its Head of Media. Moreover, Thuy Ha has been named G2 Esports’ Head of Content.


FaZe Clan unveils public Board of Directors, Stephanie McMahon among names announced

North American esports organisation FaZe Clan has revealed its new public Board of Directors.

In total, ten directors have been named. This includes the likes of Lee Trink, CEO and Co-Founder of FaZe Clan, as well as Stephanie McMahon, Chief Brand Officer at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).


Guild Esports makes leadership changes

UK-based esports organisation Guild Esports has announced changes to its leadership structure.

As a part of the restructuring, Simon Walters, Chris Sullivan and Andrew Drake will step down as non-executive directors. Guild Esports’ Executive Finance Director James Savage has also resigned for personal reasons and will be replaced with an interim director.


Team Liquid appoints three new executives

Multinational esports organisation Team Liquid has appointed three new senior members to its leadership team.

Blair Herter, formerly of G4, has been named the Global Managing Director at Liquid Media. Meanwhile, Josie Brown (previously at Hulu) becomes the organisation’s Senior Vice President of Brand, Marketing and Content. Finally, Team Liquid has appointed Jennifer Gares as its Senior Director of Talent.


Esports Entertainment Group Appoints Damian Mathews as Chief Financial Officer

Global esports and gambling company Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has appointed Damian Mathews as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing former CFO Dan Marks.

Damian Mathews is an experienced executive who served as CFO of Qatar and Abu Dhabi Investment Company from 2014 to 2020. He also held various positions of growing stature at ABN Amro, Royal Bank of Scotland, Credit Suisse First Boston and KPMG between 1994 and 2009.


Romain Grosjean joins Motorsport Games as technical advisor

Motorsport Games, the developer of sim racing title rFactor, has appointed former Formula One and current INDYCAR driver Romain Grosjean as a technical advisor.

Grosjean will help Motorsport Games by advising the company on how to grow its esports offerings, as well as how to improve the rFactor 2 simulation platform.


J Moses joins GRID Esports as Strategic Advisor

Esports data platform GRID Esports has announced that Take-Two Interactive Director J Moses has joined its advisory board as a strategic advisor.

In his new role, Moses will look to support GRID as it introduces the GRID Data Platform to the gaming sector. He will also dedicate his efforts, alongside GRID, towards educating game publishers on the potential of data assets and how the data platform can leverage said prospects.
