Bitcoin 2022 has officially started with the “industry day”. Now, attendees are getting ready for the main conference which is set to start later today. As the largest Bitcoin-focused conference, Bitcoin 2022 is bringing a stellar group of speakers, all of them top players in their respective industries and areas.
The list of confirmed speakers includes names like Michael Saylor, Jordan Peterson, Yeonmi Park, Cynthia Lummis, Peter Thiel, Cathie Wood, and Serena Williams. With more than 450 speakers, 100 artists, 3k companies, and 400 sponsors, it is not surprising that more than 35 thousand people are expected to join the Bitcoin party. No matter if you are new to Bitcoin or a veteran, interested in the technology or in investing, or simply want to party, the event has something for everyone.
According to CoinGecko, Bitcoin has seen its price increase by over 13.8% over the past 30 days. This is why many investors have their eyes set on the conference as they prepare to take a position. Fortunately for them, this year’s edition will also include panels specifically designed on the financial aspect of Bitcoin, with one of them featuring Celsius Network’s CEO Alex Mashinky.
Alex is not only the CEO of Celsius Network but also a veteran of the tech and crypto world, as well as an on all things related to investing and entrepreneurship. He has founded 3 startups valued at more than $1 billion (also known as unicorns), founded another 8, and registered more than 50 patents.
These credentials should be more than enough for most people to recognize Alex’s ability to discern opportunities in the crypto, tech, and financial worlds. As an educator and firm believer in economic literacy, he has strived to share his knowledge with his peers and the younger generations. These efforts have been heavily focused on cryptocurrency over the past years, as he is a firm believer that “cryptocurrency is eating the world”.
The panel, which will be moderated by BTC Inc’s CTO Tyler Evans, is titled “Generating Alpha on Bitcoin” and will be all about generating a higher return on Bitcoin investments. Alex and Tyler will be joined by Brian Estes, CEO & CIO at Off the Chain Capital; Walton Comer, Chief Investment Officer of XBTO Group; and Joshua Frank, Co-Founder & CEO at The TIE.
