Willow Smith has found a way to forgive her mom, Jada Pinkett Smith.

In the Wednesday, April 27, episode of Red Table Talk, the vocalist, 21, opened up to fellow famous offspring Ireland Baldwin (whose parents are Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger) about how the Girls Trip actress, 50, did not fully understand the severity of her struggles with anxiety.

"It was rough," Willow confessed in the latest episode of how her mom handled her struggles, per E! News. "I feel like when I was growing up, she didn't understand my anxiety. Because she, growing up, had seen her friends die — she had been through so much stuff that my issues, to her, kind of felt like…[smaller]."

The "Psychofreak" musician further admitted: "And that was very frustrating for me as a child. Because I was like, ‘How can you not see my internal and emotional struggle?'"

But after opening up to the Bad Moms star about how horrible her mental health had been, Jada was able to see things from her daughter's point of view. "Recently, we had a talk, and she was like, ‘I never knew that I actually experienced anxiety,'" Willow recalled of their conversation.

"And she was pushing it down for so many years, like she had no idea. So, I had to forgive her a little bit for being like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah…I get it, but it's really not that bad,'" Willow explained.

Ireland, 26, also disclosed to the "Whip My Hair" songstress about how her battle with an eating disorder, as well as alcohol and prescription drug abuse led her to seeking help for her own anxiety.

"I've been through so much before I really got help," the model said. "I was in a really abusive relationship, and I did go to a treatment center… and for so long, I didn't wanna call it [that] just like I didn't wanna call my anxiety — anxiety."

She pointed out: "I need to overcome everything that I had been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in an unreachable place."

As OK! previously reported, the Smith family has recently taken headlines by storm after Willow's dad, Will Smith, slapped Chris Rock in front of the entire world at the Oscars over the comedian's joke at Jada's expense about her bald head. The King Richard actor, 53, was then banned from the Oscars for ten years.

Ireland's dad has also been embroiled in scandal ever since the fatal shooting on set of Rust in New Mexico last year. Alec was holding the prop gun, which was loaded with live ammunition, that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. He has since been hit with a slew of lawsuits and is still being investigated for his role in the fatal October incident.
