Founder of The Pavlovic Today, White House Correspondent Ksenija Pavlovic McAteer says that the only scenario where she could “envision some sort of recognition of Kosovo by Serbia would be via territorial swap/division.”
Commenting on Twitter about the latest political pressures placed on Serbia, Pavlovic McAteer said, “Otherwise, it is never going to happen. I have never met a Serb willing to sign off Kosovo’s independence, “as is.” The EU should take a note.”
In the follow-up Tweet, she said that current political pressures placed on Serbia regarding Kosovo “are just trying to capitalize on a political momentum.” However, Pavlovic McAteer continues,” as history dictates, all momentums come and go. Sometimes, all it takes is to sit tight. Do nothing. This is one of those times.”
