Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl gets most important update yet: voice lines

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has just announced that the platform fighter will now have voice acting.

While fans of platform fighters like Super Smash Bros. are very serious about a game's balance and techniques, one of the biggest complaints about Nick All-Star Brawl wasn't the floatiness or unbalanced roster — it was the lack of voice acting. The game felt very unfinished and boring for the FGC, who wanted to hear some classic Nickelodeon cartoon zingers while competing.

Developers proudly shared a list of the voice acting talent behind the game, which includes some classic voices and some new ones. Janice Kaway, the original voice of Jimmy Neutron, will appear Nick All-Star Brawl alongside Jimmy West for Ren & Stimpy while Abby Trott will voice April O'Neil for the first time.

The update has received mixed results from the FGC. Some have applauded developers for finally giving fans voice lines while others have expressed disdain for how Nick dealt with the voice lines to begin with. A few tweets expressed that the game should be launched more polished, noting that MultiVersus will be released with voice lines.
