2022 RAM TRX SANDBLAST EDITION AIMS TO BE KING OF THE DESERT

The Ram 1500 TRX remains one of the most incredible pickup trucks you can buy today. But there’s just one problem. What it costs to fill the tank aside, the TRX doesn’t come in the right color. Until now, that is. Introducing the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition, which will offer customers an even more comprehensive selection of exterior and interior options and content.

The Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition enhances the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, and as the name implies, the track features a unique Mojave Sand exterior color and graphics. The exclusive TRX is also equipped with unique 18-inch all-black bead-lock capable wheels, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, spray-in bed liner, cargo tie-downs, bed step, and an LED cab-mounted brake light.

The inside of the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition features Light Frost accent stitching, an embroidered “TRX” seat back logo, unique carbon fiber accents, a leather and carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel, a special center console badge, head-up Display, and a driver’s screen that features a TRX having fun in Mojave Sand. As far as safety is concerned, customers will get adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist, and pedestrian emergency braking.

Under the hood of the 2022 Ram 1500 Sandblast Edition remains the same: a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine, otherwise known as the Hellcat. Output remains a stupendous 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. These are numbers in which the Ford F-150 Raptor R will have to beat in order to achieve supremacy of the moment.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the TRX Sandblast Edition starts at $98,285, plus $1,795 destination. Bringing the total cost to $100,080. Yes, we have ourselves a six-figure truck here, folks. The newest edition of Ram’s apex predator will go on sale this summer.

We gotta ask, though, would you rather have a Ram TRX Sandblast Edition? Or the more radiant TRX Ignition Edition?
