Musician Kid Rock opted to stand by drunken comments he made years ago about Oprah Winfrey in an interview with Tucker Carlson.

“A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts. I own what I said,” Rock said.

“I don’t apologize to anybody. I’m not an Oprah Winfrey fan,” he explained. “I got drunk and next thing, I’m on stage [saying] f— Oprah.”

That night, he also called out TV host Kathie Lee Gifford, which he did walk back. He said he meant to call out comedian Kathy Griffin.
