Hearty Har, a psychedelic-roc kband featuring John Fogerty’s sons Shane and Tyler, will open shows for him on his summer tour, which includes a stop at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, Sept. 9. John, Shane and Tyler Fogerty were all featured on the Fogerty’s Factory album, recorded during the pandemic and released in September 2020.
“It is with the greatest joy to see my son’s Shane and Tyler creating great music with their own unique sound that I love,” John Fogerty said in a press release. “I was in a band with my brother when I started my music career … I am so happy to see my sons sharing the love of music together, what a thrill that is.”
John Fogerty’s brother Tom, of course, co-founded the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group Creedence Clearwater Revival with him in the ’60s. The two also played together in the earlier bands, The Blue Velvets and The Golliwogs.
