There have long been speculation surrounding Russian PresidentVladimir Putin‘s failing health, and a new video and report have further fueled the rumors.

Now, a professor concluded that Putin is likely suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

“I do think that the one solid piece of evidence we see routinely is the shaking of the hands and I think that that is a degenerative thing like Parkinson’s,” Professor Angus Dalgleish of St. George’s, University of London, told The Mirror.

Others have suggested that Putin may have cancer, but Dalgleish said there’s no conclusive evidence.

“You can’t say from a short clip like that whether someone has cancer, except there have been several different times and different scenarios where the shake is constant and it gets quite bad,” Dalgleish continued. “So I can assure you that things are rarely straightforward but I would put my money on the fact that he’s got about Parkinson’s.”
