2023 C8 CORVETTE Z06 PRODUCTION RUMORS DEBUNKED: THE LATEST

It’s not uncommon for rumors and speculation to cause turmoil as a void of information forms. While customers for the upcoming 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 eagerly await the announcement of the vehicle’s MSRP and the start of production, many across social media have started rumors that have caused high levels of stress amongst some people. However, the MidEngineCorvetteForum is countering the rumors on what’s happening with the American supercar.

2023 Corvette Z06: Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

According to the forum, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is still on track to produce customer units this summer. Additionally, the LT6 engine isn’t having any emission compliance issues like some rumors have been suggesting. To coincide with that, the Z06 also has no overheating problems. Furthermore, it seems that some people have spotted Corvette Z06 with Z07 packages getting transported fully covered and have assumed that meant there was something negative hidden from sight. That’s not the case. Although it hasn’t been revealed, Chevrolet has something worth hiding; it’s not something negative. The company spends the extra dollars to cover the Corvette in transit in order to preserve the paint and decals. Lastly, the first sale-able Z06 CTF units have been circulating in Michigan.

While General Motors hasn’t yet determined the price for the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06, we’re likely not far from seeing what the MSRP of the car will be. It may be early next month or even ten days from now on Thursday, June 30. After all, June 30, 1953 was when the first production Corvette rolled off the assembly line in Flint, Michigan.

It’s also possible that the first Z06 orders will go in along with the next round of Stingray allocations on July 21. While it’s tough, Corvette fans need to remain as patient as possible, and we recommend not believing absolutely everything on the internet, especially when it comes from Facebook or YouTube. GM plans on releasing the Z06 pricing ahead of time, so customers won’t be placing their orders “price blind.”

Stay tuned for more C8 Corvette Z06 news as it happens.
