National Competition of Pokémon Unite Koshien in Japan to be held Jul. 30, 2022!

The Pokémon Company announced the news about the National Senior High School Pokémon Unite Championship Tournament (a.k.a. Pokémon Unite Koshien), a national tournament in Japan for senior high school students only, jointly hosted by The Pokémon Company and Nippon TV (a.k.a NTV).
Here are the four teams that made it to the national tournament, the performers, and the final stage!

List of Teams and Players for the National Tournament

Pokémon Unite Koshien, the first "Pokémon Unite" competition for senior high school students only, allowed anyone to participate by teaming up with five other students from the same senior high school. A total of 233 teams with more than 1,200 high school students participated in the competition.
And now, here are the four teams that made it to the national competition after successfully winning the preliminary rounds divided into four regions across Japan!

The national competition will occur on July 30, 2022, at NTV's studios.
The matches will be streamed on the official YouTube Pokémon Unite channel!

Original Uniforms for the Tournament Revealed

With assistance from Pokémon Shirts, each district's representative colors were used as the basis for the original uniforms for this tournament.
The design features embroidered Pokémon used in the tournament that decided to proceed to the National Championship on the sleeve cuffs, chosen "to be a cherished memory."

Decision of Performers

The "Live Audition" project is tied to the "Pokémon Unite Koshien."
The announcer chosen for the audition was Nippon TV announcer Hikaru Shinohara, who will be commentating on the Pokemon Unite Koshien.
The commentary will be provided by Zackray(ザクレイ), a famous Pokemon Unite player, as he did in the preliminary round.
