Batman MultiVersus guide: Play style, moves, and more

MultiVersus has plucked the caped crusader from Gotham City to add to its bruiser lineup. Batman’s punches and melee attacks are peerless and warrant his high win rate.

Bruiser is the most crowded character class in MultiVersus, featuring the likes of LeBron James, Garnet, Taz, and more. Each such character excels at finishing off enemies tenderized by mages and supports. Batman is perhaps the best-loved of all for his rich history in DC comics and movies. The savior of Gotham City has plenty of great moves that add to his bio.

Who is Batman?

Batman is a superhero in DC comics who became popular among the masses after a string of comic books, movies, and TV shows. Unlike most superheroes, Batman doesn’t have supernatural powers. Instead, he tackles bad guys with cutting-edge weapons, computerized masks, brute force, and shrewd detective skills.

In MultiVersus, Batman brings his wealth, determination, and punches. The default Batman costume is simple, inspired by his basic appearance in comics. There’s also a level themed on Batcave that showcases his iconic cars and his computer that keeps track of villains.

Batman play style in MultiVersus

Batman in MultiVersus is the unique bruiser so far as he’s loaded with tools that help him weaken the opponent. Bruisers primarily rely on their physical capabilities, but Batman stands out with his hook gun, Bat-bomb, and Batarang. Each of these tools have helped him become a viable pick in MultiVersus.

Batman’s moveset shines in close-range battles, but also fares well at mid-range. Batarang and Bat-bomb are your keys to quickly toss enemies out of the arena. Using them simultaneously wields excellent results. Most of Batman’s moveset works best when combined with another ability. For example, Bat-grapple helps him get close to the enemy to hit them with a Bat-combo. Players will want to hit the practice server before picking Batman in MultiVersus.

Best 2v2 teammate for Batman in MultiVersus

Batman works best with a Tank that can soften up his enemies, preparing them for a close finishing attack from the caped crusader. Batman can cash in on a Tank’s tools, moving in closer when enemies are stunned. The Iron Giant will pair well with Batman’s highly-damaging moveset.
