According to the Atlanta police, Mariah Carey’s nine-bedroom home in the city was broken into and burglarized. She purchased the home in November 2021 for around $5.6 million, and luckily no one was home when this incident occurred.

Carey had been jet-setting around the world with her family, twins Monroe and Moroccan and her boyfriend Brian Tanaka. She recently uploaded some shots from the beautiful island of Capri in Italy and was also spending some quality family time at a house in the Hamptons.

Police have yet to report on what was stolen exactly. “This is still an open investigation, the information may be limited,” their statement confirmed.

The huge mansion has nine bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, as well as a tennis court and playground onsite.

Carey is performing at the annual Global Citizen Festival in New York City next month.
