2023 FORD RANGER ORDER GUIDE FOR AMERICA AND CANADA HAVE DROPPED

On the surface, there aren’t too many changes from 2022 to 2023 Ford Ranger pickup truck, as North America awaits the arrival of the all-new, P703N Ford Ranger for the 2024 model year. The folks over at the Ranger6G forum shared the order guide to peruse, only to find a couple of small changes to come in the new model year, primarily appearance package related. We also find the American destined Ranger receives more change-ups than its Canadian cousin.

Both Rangers still sport three trim levels; XL,XLT, and Lariat all of which will be offered in a supercrew/supercab configuration with available two and four wheel drive in America and only four-wheel drive in Canada. As far as power plants go, the only available option is the 2.3L Ecoboost engine with a 10-speed transmission.

The 2023 Ranger does come in some new colors; Azure Gray Metallic Tri-coat, and Eruption Green Metallic, the same one we’ve seen on the Bronco. The Eruption Green is a required paint color when choosing the new “Splash Jungle edition.” Deleted from the 2023 Ranger color palette are Avalanche, Cyber Orange, Desert Sand, and Forged Green. The Ford Ranger Splash Snow, Sand, and Forest packages have been deleted as well. The Ford Ranger Tremor remains on deck for the 2023 model year. As far as Canadian Rangers go, it only removes Cyber Orange from its color options and adds only Azure Gray.

Other changes include new dealer installed options like door sill plates,a floor safe (supercrew only) and a center console safe, side window deflectors, roadside assistance and first aid kits, as well as a pivot storage box. Both the XL and XL STX packages receive halogen fog lamps. Lastly Ford removes the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot ability when the option isn’t made available due to chip shortage.
