YOU NEED THIS 800HP GMC YUKON BECAUSE REASONS

Specialty Vehicle Engineering is known for delivering on high-quality, high-horsepower builds that today’s GM would not dare produce, lest their narrative of “zero emissions” gets diluted. Examples of SVE builds include the 1,100 hp Yenko Camaro, the 850 hp Yenko Silverado, and the 750 hp GMC Canyon-based Syclone. These are not wimpy builds. Adding to this roster is now an 800-horsepower GMC Yukon, giving customers a choice of a high-octane full-size SUV. This supercharged GMC Yukon is called the Sport Edition, and the big news is obviously under the hood, which is where you’ll find a blueprinted aluminum block, race-quality computer-balanced rotating assembly, including forged 1538MV twisted steel crankshaft and forged aluminum pistons, upgraded cylinder heads, and SVE’s own high-output supercharger assembly.

Opting for the supercharged 5.3L L84 V8 in the SVE GMC Yukon Sport Edition will put 700 horsepower under your right foot, while the 6.2L L87 option bumps that number up to 800 horsepower. Finishing off the upgrades is a custom stainless steel exhaust system. Both output options are available with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and in both standard length Yukon and extended-wheelbase Yukon XL.

SVE says that the supercharged GMC Yukon Sport Edition “could easily qualify as the quickest 2023 limited production full-size SUV in the world”, which sure sounds like it’s trying to take on GM’s own Cadillac Escalade-V.

It’s not just an increase in ponies that improves the driving experience of the Yukon, but also an upgrade in luxury. An optional leather seat trim package features black or gray leather surround with a choice of 7 colors of leather inserts, plus black/white hounds tooth cloth. Embroidered logos on the headrests and leather seats also let people know that this is no ordinary Yukon as if it wasn’t already blatantly obvious.

There is a caveat to all of this supercharged GMC Yukon, and it’s the quantity. Only 50 of each (700hp and 800hp) examples of the SVE GMC Yukon Sport Edition will be built, meaning that if you want to get your hands on the ultimate trailer burnout machine, you’d better act fast. Pricing is not yet available, but the vehicle is available from SVE certified GMC dealers.
