JiDion kicked out of US Open over YouTube haircut stunt

Jidon “JiDion” Adams is no stranger to getting banned but now he’s moved from getting a ban from Twitch to a ban from the US Open tennis event.

JiDion has become a polarizing figure in the streaming community since he was permanently banned from Twitch for sending a hate raid after Imane “Pokimane” Anys. After losing his platform on Twitch, JiDion has moved to YouTube to keep creating content.

A recurring theme in JiDion his videos is getting a haircut at public sporting events. In March 2022, JiDion got his hair cut at a Minnesota Timberwolves game. This time, JiDion decided to step it up and get a haircut at the US Open, a Grand Slam tennis tournament.

Why was JiDion kicked out of a US Open match?

During a US Open match, JiDion decided to get his hair cut while sitting in the second row. His barber stood up and started shaping and trimming his hair, causing some confusion in the crowd.

“We got a guy getting a haircut a few seats away from me,” a commentator noted.

“Seems like a weird time to do that,” the other host said back.

The commentators noted his over-the-top Louis Vuitton cape, saying he was clearly looking for a camera or trying to get attention. Well, it seemed to work. After getting noticed by the USTA reps, JiDion was escorted out of his seat and removed from the grounds entirely.

It’s currently unknown if JiDion is permanently banned from the US Open or any other tennis tournaments. The USTA hasn’t released an official statement on the matter.

On top of these two sporting events, JiDion has also been removed from a furry convention in 2022. According to staff, JiDion was making some of the attendees “uncomfortable.”
