The Pavlovic Today has learned from our sources in Westminster that the UK Parliament may pass an emergency legislation for energy price freeze “because the Queen Elizabeth is dying,” and the Parliament “may close” for some time.
Sources in the House of Commons say that the Queen’s passing looks “almost inevitable later today or tomorrow morning.”
Because Parliament will shut for “at least two weeks,” the energy price freeze has to be passed according to the concerned parliamentarians The Pavlovic Today spoke to.
Apparently, “If it’s announced today that the Queen has passed , MPs and all staff have one hour to leave Parliament and we will be closed for two weeks,” source in Westminster told The Pavlovic Today.
The deceased Monarch usually lies in state in Westminster Hall so that the public can pay their respect.
Since the MPs can’t be arguing in the chamber while this is happening, the UK Parliament will not sit until two days after the funeral.
