An event reserved for a handful of insiders just a few years ago, Paris Fashion Week has gradually opened up to the public with the advent of social media. Everything from live fashion shows to backstage access, stree-tstyle looks and creator content will be coming to TikTok during the French capital's latest fashion week, ending October 4.

There's no need to spend hours waiting to catch a fleeting glimpse of your favorite designers, or the plethora of guests in the front row of the most prestigious shows, since Paris Fashion Week is now accessible to all via social networks. Live from your couch, it's now possible to discover new collections from Dior, Balmain and Louis Vuitton, or even to enjoy backstage access to some of the biggest runway shows. Watch out, Anna Wintour!

There's no denying that, while Fashion Week remains one of the most coveted fashion events in the world, it is no longer the preserve of the elite -- at least not in virtual worlds, in any case. This year again, TikTok will allow many people to follow Paris Fashion Week, in association with French fashion's governing body, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, via the hashtag #ParisFashionWeek. Expect a host of news related to the event, as well as street-style looks, highlights and, above all, the possibility of viewing live shows.

From this Tuesday, September 27, TikTokers will be able to discover live the new spring-summer 2023 collections of Dior and Saint Laurent, respectively at 3 pm and 8 pm (CEST), as well as the latest edition of the famous Etam Live Show, which does not feature on the official Fashion Week calendar. The coming days will bring shows from Balmain, Messika Jewelry and Louis Vuitton. More than enough to keep fashion lovers busy!

Note that the official Paris Fashion Week account will provide a wealth of content, whether to recap on each day's fashion shows or take part in challenges.

Social media will also take users behind the scenes of some fashion shows via the accounts of brands or influencers, giving everyone a chance to take a look at what goes on backstage. In addition, the Chinese social network will offer a host of content from designers, such as FancyAndParis, Timonthegram and J'aime tout chez toi. It's a great way to learn more about fashion, and especially about the trends that will be coming to our wardrobes next spring.
