'KENTRUCKY DAY' MARKS 2024 FORD SUPER DUTY REVEAL

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has recently designated Tuesday, September 27, 2022, as KenTRUCKy Day to celebrate Ford’s 109-year history in the commonwealth and a special Churchill Downs reveal of the all-new 2024 Ford F-Series Super Duty truck. In addition, Ford is celebrating 45 years of F-Series as the best-selling pickup in America and the leading choice for industries across the country to help get the job done.

The next-generation 2024 Super Duty – built at Ford’s Kentucky Truck plant – will debut today at 7:15 p.m. ET at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. The reveal will be live streamed on Ford’s YouTube channel so fans won’t miss a beat. If you don’t have time, we’ll cover all the vital information on the next-generation Super Duty trucks here.

Ford Motor Company employs over 12,000 people in Kentucky. The company and its partners have announced plans to add 5,000 more jobs and invest $5.8 billion to build BlueOval SK Battery Park, where they will assemble batteries to power the next generation of Ford and Lincoln electric vehicles. Ford is the largest vehicle producer in Kentucky, with 8,500 people employed at the Kentucky Truck Plant, where the F-Series Super Duty trucks are produced. For that reason, Beshear has decided to make today KenTRUCKy Day in anticipation of the reveal of the all-new 2023 Super Duty truck.

2024 Ford Super Duty: Details

Not much has been revealed regarding the new 2024 Ford F-250 and 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty trucks, but Big Blue has been kind enough to show a few teaser videos on Twitter showcasing new headlamps. We also got a peak at the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel badge in one of the videos, which confirms that the engine will remain for the next generation, at least for a short while, until something more efficient enters the fold. We’ll know a lot more later tonight, so stay tuned!
