Chrishell Stause Plans To Adopt & Is Tired Of People Asking Her About Having Kids

PACIFIC PALISADES, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 05: Chrishell Hartley attends the 10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles at Will Rogers State Historic Park on October 05, 2019 in Pacific Palisades, California.

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause is really over people asking her if she still wants children — in response to photos of her and her nonbinary partner, G Flip.

Over the weekend, Stause posted a cute couple photo on her Instagram Story, and later reposted a hater’s reply: “You didn’t want to have children?”

On the same slide, the reality star expressed her frustration with this offensive line of questioning.

“Please stop asking me this,” she pleaded. “At least this one didn’t include hate I refuse to give a voice to by reposting.”

Stause also revealed, “I plan on adopting. I understand being on Selling Sunset entitles people to questions and my life in a way. But I am tired of this question. Thank you for the love and support to others — I fell in love with a person. It’s not that scandalous. Love is a beautiful thing.”

Another person on Instagram replied to Stause’s response that her fans were just “confused” because she previously seemed “so set on making [her] own family.”

They were presumably referring to the reality star’s December 2021 breakup with fellow Selling Sunset star, Jason Oppenheim. (The exes weren’t on the same page when it came to starting a family.)

Stause cleared up the confusion.

“I was looking to make a family with someone that wanted one as well,” she wrote. “And if someone doesn’t know if they will ever even want to have a child and is not open to adoption, then those are two things that don’t align for me. Nothing but love for my last relationship.”

The celebrity real estate agent made it clear that she’s said her piece on the subject, and she encouraged people to move on.

Stause concluded, “But now I am going back to posting about my day. If you don’t understand after this answer, then that’s okay. You don’t need to. Just know that I am very happy and so is everyone involved.”

Stause and G Flip have been publicly dating since May, and based on all the adorable couple photos and videos they share online, they seem to be thriving despite the hate.
