Volleyball: No. 4 Nebraska Hosts Iowa Tonight

The match will mark the 300th consecutive sellout since 2001

A big night for Big Red.

The No. 4 Nebraska volleyball team is set to host Iowa this evening, with the match marking the 300th consecutive sellout for the home of the Huskers. That dates back to the days of Nebraska holding court in the NU Coliseum.

Nebraska is 21-2 on the season and 13-1 in Big Ten Conference play. The Huskers, coming off a five set victory over Northwestern, are tied with Wisconsin and just one win behind Ohio State at 14-1 or the league lead.

Iowa is 7-18 this year, including a 1-13 Big Ten record. The Hawkeyes, in their first year under Jim Barnes, have lost their last eight matches.

Nebraska is 35-0 all-time against against Iowa, with the last four matchups ending in sweeps.

The match will be streamed online on B1G+.

On the radio, John Baylor and Lauren Cook-West will call the action for the Huskers Radio Network, including in Lincoln on B-107.3 FM as well as 1400 AM and 99.3 FM KLIN.

Today's match is set for an 6 p.m. first serve.
