Kenzie Knuckles to Miss Remainder of Season

The senior defensive specialist suffered a knee injury in practice

Nebraska volleyball will be without one of its captains for the rest of the 2022 campaign.

The Huskers announced Friday that senior defensive specialist Kenzie Knuckles suffered a knee injury during practice this week. That injury will keep her out of the final two regular-season matches and any postseason play.

Knuckles had played in all 27 matches and 90 sets for NU this season.

The Indiana native began as a libero for Big Red before transitioning to defensive specialist. She totaled more 1,098 digs and 90 service aces in her career.

Knuckles will be honored on Senior Night with Nicklin Hames, Kaitlyn Hord, and Madi Kubik after the Minnesota match Saturday.
