WANT A Z06? HERE ARE THE NEXT THREE MONTHLY ORDER CYCLES FOR THE CORVETTE

Chevrolet has recently sent their dealers an email that outlines the next three months of ordering for the Stingray and Z06 models. However, if you’re hoping for a more normalized ordering process for the car, that’s not going to be the case. According to our friends at Corvette Blogger, the memo outlines the ordering dates for the next three months. Still, nowhere does it specify Z06, so dealers assume that the Z06 ordering will happen anytime a month has a second Dealer Order Submission Process (DOSP).

For December 2022, there is only one DOSP planned, so there won’t be any Z06 allocations. However, for the Corvette Stingray, dealers will receive their allocations on December 8th, and then the Constraints and Ordering will come on December 15th. January 2023 will also only see one DOSP, with allocations coming on January 12th and Contains and Ordering opening on January 19th.

Finally, in February 2023, two DOSP cycles will be planned, and we’ll likely see Chevy follow the previous trends of holding the Stingray DOSP first and then the 2nd being the Z06 cycle. So, the first DOSP will begin on February 2nd, and orders will start on February 9th. Meanwhile, the second DOSP begins on February 16th, and orders will open on February 23rd. So, mark the calendar as you won’t be the only one waiting for the chance to place an order on a C8 Corvette Z06.

For the current Z06 order cycle, these orders are showing targeted production build dates starting in January 2023. With the next Z06 order cycle closing in late February, those orders may see a targeted production date beginning in April. Though, that could be subject to change depending on the strength of the supply chain and other known and unknown factors that play into all of this. We’ll have to wait until after February to see if Chevrolet plans to pause for a month or two on Z06 ordering after that month’s DOSP or if we’ll get a monthly order cycle for the supercar.
