Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss, DJ On ‘Ellen’ Show, Left A Suicide Note Mentioning Past Challenges

Stephen’ tWitch’ Boss was found dead in a motel room on Tuesday.

Today, TMZ has revealed the DJ left a note that alluded to past challenges, although it remained unclear what that meant exactly.

The L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner has confirmed that the cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot to the head.

Investigators have also determined that Boss took an Uber from his home to the Oak Tree Inn motel on Monday morning and set his phone to airplane mode to ensure friends and family couldn’t find him.

Boss was married to Allison Holker, a professional dancer whom he met on So You Think You Can Dance. The couple recently celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary and had three children.

Holker, who went to the LAPD on Tuesday when she couldn’t reach her husband, said, “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.”

Ellen DeGeneres, who featured tWitch as a DJ on her show, also issued a statement regarding his death and said she was “heartbroken” over his passing.

DeGeneres has continued to express her condolences and has been sharing her favorite moments with him on Twitter.
