This week’s free game: Dishonored and Eximius

There are two free games this week on the Epic Games store. The two free games this week will both be available until January 1st, when a new set of free games will make their way to release. This week’s two games are Dishonored – Definitive Edition, and Eximius: Seize the Frontline.

Dishonored – Definitive Edition

Dishonored is a classic stealth action game from Arkane Studios, with dark tones to match its gritty, steampunk-esque setting. Dishonored – Definitive Edition also includes the three DLCs and one content pack that exists for the original Dishonored game. This edition will come with The Knife of Dunwall, in which you take on the role of a notorious NPC from the original campaign, with his journey continued in the Brigmore Witches DLC. It also comes with the varied challenge mode called Dunwall City Trials, and the Void Walker’s Arsenal, which includes pieces of gear that were previously pre-order exclusives. Dishonored is rated M for Mature.

Eximius: Seize the Frontline

Eximius: Seize the Frontline is a unique combination of RTS and shooter. In teams of 5, one Commander runs the field like a typical RTS, building structure, setting priority targets, and controlling the macro-state of the flow of battle. However, unlike other RTS games, the other players on each team are on the ground, fighting in FPS style to capture, destroy, or defend the areas prioritized by the Commander. It’s an unusual 5v5 game, but offers some unique gameplay concepts that are sure to be fun with a full squad of friends. Eximius has a content warning for blood and violence.
