Supernova is developing innovative educational and service robots that can be used in everyday life. Supernova’s first project is HUENIT, which is a modular robotic arm with AI vision.
It was honored with the CES 2023 Innovation Award for its first product, artificial intelligence modular robot arm ‘HUENIT’.
We are researching and developing STEAM educational contents using HUENIT, and aiming to provide fun educational contents that combine AI, robotics, and software. Furthermore, we are developing a hand drip system and an ice cream robot system using HUENIT, and HUENIT will be used in daily life within 1-2 years.
1. SW & AI Educational robotic arm, HUENIT
HUENIT is an easy-to-use, multi-functional, high-precision AI modular robot arm for Maker and STEAM education. HUENIT supports AI vision, laser engraving, 3D printing, robotic gripper, writing and drawing functions, and also has a customizable module. HUENIT supports various development environments such as visual programming (block based coding), Python, and Arduino (C++) programming. In addition, you can learn and experience the entire process of artificial intelligence training using Tensorflow. (AI accelerator (NPU) is built into the HUENIT camera module) All functions can be easily learned and utilized by beginners through the HUENIT SW platform.

1. AI camera
- AI camera module equipped with RISK-V based 64-bit processors and AI accelerators supports real-time image recognition and even voice recognition through built-in microphones. It is capable of a variety of artificial intelligence technologies such as face recognition, image classification, object detection, line tracking, color recognition, human segmentation, etc.
2. Laser
- The high power laser with automatic cooling system is capable of cutting and engraving various materials. Use a laser module to create your own artwork. Materials : MDF/Balsa/Paper/Wood/Fabric/Leather/Plywood/Foam paper/Anodized Aluminum, etc.

3. 3D printer
- The 3D printer module has a 40W heater & dual cooling system, and can use PLA, ABS, and TPU filaments. And HUENIT’s 3D printer modules provide auto-leveling functions.
4. Suction
- HUENIT has a built-in vacuum pump in its body, so you can connect immediately without additional connection. Also, it’s possible to rotate 180 degrees with a built-in servo motor.
5. Pen holder
- Using the Pen-holder Module, HUENIT can function with colorful pens. Use it to draw attractive paintings or calligraphy.
6. Creator
- HUENIT provides user customizing modules. Design your own modules with creative ideas.

Anyone can easily control and utilize HUENIT by using HUENIT SW-platform which includes coding & AI training functions as well as making functions such as laser and 3D printing. HUENIT is developing a system for F&B services as well as educational services. The first product is HUENIT Barista.
