YOU CAN NOW ORDER THE MOST POWERFUL CHEVROLET TAHOE EVER

In May of 2022, Chevrolet announced some new updates for the 2023 Tahoe, including some new exterior design and, most notably, the arrival of Super Cruise to the SUV, GM’s hands-free driver-assistance technology. But that’s not all they’re doing for the large SUV, as they have recently added an RST Performance Edition to the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe online configurator.

2023 Chevrolet Tahoe RST Performance Edition: Details

Sitting just above the Z71 trim for the Chevy Tahoe and below the Premier is the RST trim. When selecting that option on the configurator, you’ll also want to equip the 5.3L V8 engine over the Duramax to get this performance version of the SUV. That alone will set your starting price to $67,195. After that, you can go through and customize the vehicle as you see fit, but when you arrive at the packages section of the configurator, you’ll find that at the bottom of the list is the RST Performance Edition.

Customers opting for the $8,875 package will get a Performance Air Intake System and memory settings for two drivers. The Chevrolet Tahoe will also be equipped with a power 60/40 split-folding third-row bench seat, power-release second-row bucket seats, body-color heated driver, and driver-side auto-dimming power side mirrors. Additionally, customers will find Heavy Duty front Brembo Brakes along with Torch Red Front and Rear Calipers to help the SUV stand out, heated second-row outboard seats, and the ever-important heated steering wheel for those living in colder environments.

Chevrolet has also thrown in Black nameplates and a sport pedal cover kit to the package. In addition, the luggage rack side rails have been deleted, and the exhaust system has been replaced with a cat-back performance system to give a sportier undertone to the Tahoe. The package also provides the SUV with a high-performance suspension package. As for connecting the vehicle to the road, 20″ High Gloss Black aggressive aluminum wheels with 20″ all-season Blackwall Firestone Firehawk Pursuit tires come with the package. These sturdy rubbers are the same tires on the Tahoe PPV, to which the Tahoe RST Performance Edition also shares a suspension system with.

No, it doesn’t come with the monster supercharged V8 that we see on the 680 hp Cadillac Escalade-V, but if you do seek more power out of your Chevrolet Tahoe RST Performance Edition, there are some aftermarket solutions.

Altogether, without any additional features added to the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe RST Performance Edition, you’re looking at an MSRP of $76,070; that price includes the $1,895 destination charge.
