XGIMI PRESENTS INDUSTRY CHANGING INTELLIGENT SCREEN ADAPTATION TECHNOLOGY 2.0 AT CES 2023

XGIMI, a leading design and industry-awarded projector and laser TV brand, today announced it will showcase its industry changing Intelligent Screen Adaptation Technology (ISA 2.0) at CES 2023 which can be experienced at its booth in the Venetian Expo Hall A-D, stand #52829.

Previous versions of XGIMI’s ISA technology have already solved most pain points for users, with one exception, the time it takes for those functions to occur. ISA 2.0 technology leaves that in the past with seamless functionality that happens quicker and unnoticed. ISA 2.0 is upgraded with three new functions to their intelligent and easy-to-use set-up: Seamless Auto Keystone Correction, Seamless Auto Focus, and Intelligent Eye Protection.

Coming out of 3 years of R&D by the XGIMI product team, ISA 2.0 reaches new levels of ease of use and represents the new way forward for the industry, while increasing usability in more environments. This means more time watching your favorite movies while making it easier for the most un-initiated projector user, which is why XGIMI projectors have quickly become user favorites.

At its core, ISA technology measures the time it takes for the light wave to reflect after hitting the projection surface. Now enhanced, ISA 2.0 calculates the distance between the light source and the projection surface faster and draws an in-depth map of the space in which it is located. In this way, the upgraded ISA technology gathers previously unattainable details of its surroundings more precisely and can perfectly adjust the projection to match, a massive improvement of the previous version.

To achieve this upgrade, a specially developed 3D ToF depth perception module and high-precision CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) are utilized. The amount of depth information perceived through the 3D ToF is ten thousand times higher than that of the previous single-point ToF. Coupled with the new XGIMI visual perception algorithm, it forms a new generation of software and hardware solutions going a step further in adapting smart projectors to their environment.

Since 2017 XGIMI has been leading the way in these technological innovations that have allowed for projectors to become as easy to use as a smartphone. In 2017, XGIMI was the first to apply MEMC motion compensation technology to projectors, giving projected images a smoother and more stable picture quality. In 2019, XGIMI was the first to implement automatic keystone correction technology, thermal out-of-focus compensation technology, and global seamless focusing and lossless optical zoom technology. In 2021, XGIMI realized instant screen alignment, intelligent obstacle avoidance, ambient light adaptation, and real-time eye protection and many other functions; and now in 2023 comes ISA 2.0.

ISA 2.0 Key Features

Seamless Auto Keystone Correction & Seamless Auto Focus: Within a few seconds, ISA 2.0 corrects and focuses the keystone without interruption. Equipped with industry leading 3D ToF and high precision CMOS solution, trillions of data points are returned and processed in real time, per second, realizing a more accurate and faster auto-keystone and auto-focus correction function.

Intelligent Eye Protection: The intelligent function detects any presence in front of the light source and immediately dims the light so that eyes are protected even if accidentally looking into the projector’s light source.

Intelligent Screen Alignment: Already part of the original ISA technology and also available in ISA 2.0 is XGIMI’s Intelligent Screen Alignment function automatically identifies the screen surface and matches the display to each edge perfectly, eliminating the need to manually adjust the corners.

Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance: Using a new screen sensing algorithm ISA 2.0 identifies obstacles in the projection area and automatically avoids them. While performing keystone correction, ISA 2.0 will accurately avoid wall obstacles while finding a more suitable projection surface. For homes with countless wall decorations, it saves users tremendous time to find the right surface.

CES attendees can try out the new ISA 2.0 system for themselves and test its unique advantages while catching the very first glimpse of the new MoGo 2 Pro projector. Tex Yang, VP Global Business, is available for discussions and looks forward to talking to attendees about XGIMI’s technology innovations, and the challenges in the global projector market. If you are interested in an interview, please contact us and we will arrange an appointment with you. XGIMI will also be exhibiting at the Pepcom event on January 4th at Caesars Palace from 7pm – 10 pm.
