Todd will reside at the Federal Correctional Institution Pensacola in Florida while Julie will reside at the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky.

In a press release by U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan, it was said that before the start of Chrisley Knows Best, the couple took out fraudulent loans of $30 million to spend it all on luxury houses, cars and clothes before Todd filed for bankruptcy.

In order to hide the income that Todd was making from the show in 2014, the couple put the money into Julie’s bank accounts and when the IRS became suspicious, Julie wired the money to Todd’s mother.

On the couple’s podcast Chrisley Confessions, they talked about the negative press around them concerning the verdict. “People just love a story, and people love to see people built up just to break them down,” Julie said.

“If anyone even knew, truly, what has gone on in our life, and what has been done to us, and how this whole system has worked and failed, you know, the things that have happened and how we still have to keep fighting,” Todd continued, “and then they want to sit and talk about ‘go pay your taxes!’ Shut up. I’ve paid more in taxes than you’ve ever earned.”

Todd recently denied having a gay affair with a male colleague.
