Republicans targets Biden as US recovers Chinese spy balloon

The United States is attempting to recover a suspected Chinese spy balloon that was shot down off the coast of South Carolina, Pentagon said.

“Our US Navy component is currently conducting recovery operations, with the US Coast Guard assisting in securing the area and maintaining public safety,” the statement read although China has repeatedly said that the airship was being used for meteorological and other scientific purposes.

The republican coccus has taken upon themselves to politicize the entire issue; accusing Biden of been soft on China. These Republican political juggernauts are strategizing a game plan to use against Biden during the upcoming presidential elections, instead of taking a consensus of the recovering process.

Rep. Jim Jordan wrote on Twitter “Would Trump have let China fly a spy balloon over our country?”. “Would Reagan? JFK? Truman? No, no, and no.”

Trump on Thursday shared a post on Truth Social from rightwing activist Jack Posobiec, who claimed without evidence that the Pentagon was saying “the quiet part out loud. The CCP [Chinese Communist Party] can send spy balloons over our nuclear silos and we will do nothing.”

South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott also chimed in and tweeted that “the balloon should have been shot down before it crossed the continental United States, not after,” adding that the incident was a “dereliction of Biden’s duty.”

Biden has taken the best step in favor of National Security and the safety of everyday Americans, but some republicans would do anything to create an uproar to discredit Biden for ordering the shoot down of the Chinese Spy Balloon.

The Big Question becomes: What is the aim of these republicans in the house; When has Nationality Security become an issue for Political clout; They should be impressed by the decision of Biden and the Military’s procedure of taking down the Chinese Spy Balloon.
