Ireland's government has moved to remove tents occupied by asylum seekers in Dublin. Eight people, including seven thought to be migrants, have died after the car they were travelling in swerved off a mountain road into the Vjosa River in southeastern Albania. Authorities said the driver failed to stop at a checkpoint and sped away. According to regional police chief Ardian Cipa, officers followed the car and later saw that it had crashed into the river about 240 kilometres southeast of the capital, Tirana. Tensions are mounting between the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams (D) and the governors of Texas and Arizona. After over 3000 new asylum seekers entered New York City’s service shelters in the span of six weeks, Adams pointed to Gov.
