The fifth stage of the Critérium de Dauphiné cycling race was neutralised on Thursday after a mass crash which also involved overall leader Remco Evenepoel and main rival Primoz Roglic. A large number of riders fell on a wet descent 21 kilometres from the finish line of the 167km stage from Amplepuis to Saint-Priest. "The stage will be neutralised due to the lack of medical assistance still available. No time will be taken on this stage, and there will be no stage winner," organizers said.
