Eurostar is considering adding more routes from London as it looks to buy 50 new trains. “There is huge demand for our services and we have big European ambitions," chief executive Gwendoline Cazenave told the Financial Times on Thursday. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Eurostar carrying passengers from London to Paris. The first fare-paying passengers used the service to travel through the Channel Tunnel in November 1994.
