Purdue has added a home game vs. Southern Illinois to the 2025 football schedule, according to FBSchedules.com. Purdue will play host to FCS Southern Illinois on Sept. 6, 2025. SIU will be paid $500,000 for playing the game, according to the report. An opening on Purdue’s 2025 schedule occurred when its home game vs. UConn that season was moved to 2029. Neil Bemenderfer, a key role player on Purdue’s Big Ten title team in 1979, celebrates his 68th birthday with us.
