Okpara is headed to Knoxville, less than a two-hour drive from Chattanooga, where he played most of his high school career at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy. Gayle broke out in 2023-24, averaging 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. COLUMBUS — Ohio State center Felix Okpara announced on April 2 that he planned on running it back for the 2024-25 season. Three weeks later, however, Okpara has changed his mind. He entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Sunday morning. Okpara averaged 6.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game as a sophomore.
