Lufthansa, Europe's largest airline group by revenue, saw net profits more than double last year. It is planning to pay dividends again for the first time since the pandemic. On Monday, one European airline started inviting passengers to ‘weigh in’ before flights. Finnish airline Finnair is asking travellers at Helsinki airport to voluntarily step on the scales at departure gates. BOOM found that the incident dates back to 2017 when IndiGo sacked one of its employees Montu Kalra after the incident.
