German armaments and auto parts manufacturer Rheinmetall has announced a €920 million ($996 million) deal to supply the German military with another 1,515 military lorries by November. The sales are under a framework agreement inked in June 2020 for supplying up to 4,000 lorries equipped with swap-body systems, a cargo loading system that allows the lorries to switch containers loaded on the back quickly.
