French pole vaulter Margot Chevrier has set her sights on the home Olympics in Paris in summer despite suffering a severe ankle injury at the world indoor championships in Glasgow. Chevrier sustained an open ankle fracture upon landing after failing to clear 4.65 metres. She screamed in pain and underwent lengthy treatment on site before being taken to hospital. American bobsleigh pilot Riley Tejcek crashed in all four runs of the two-woman competition at the world championships but still didn't finish last on Saturday. Tejcek and push athlete Jasmine Jones crashed at the end of the final turn in the first two heats on Friday but could continue because the sled crossed the finish line.
