2023 DODGE CHALLENGER DEMON 170 HEADING TO BARRETT-JACKSON

Factory ordering of the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is sold out, which isn’t surprising. But, if you were looking to get your hands on one, there’s still a chance, as one will be making its way to the legendary Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas, which is taking place from June 22 to 24. The legendary muscle car will be sold at no reserve, which means it’s fair game.

Dodge Challenger Demon 170 Barrett-Jackson: Details

Dodge hopes to build some 3,300 of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 muscle cars, which is a higher count than most of the other “Last Call” models that the brand have announced. The vehicle is powered by a bespoke 6.2-liter V8 engine topped with a 3.0-liter supercharger, pushing out 1,025 hp on E85 fuel. With its unique suspension setup for the drag strip and set of Mickey Thompson tires, 0-60 is under 2 seconds. Even faster than a Tesla Model S Plaid. As for the exterior, the car’s appointed with rear body flares, an SRT Performance spoiler, and High-Intensity Discharge headlamps.

Unfortunately, the Dodge Challenger Demon 170 is already banned by the NHRA thanks to dominating the quarter-mile with a certified 8.91 seconds ET at 151.17 mph. As for the particular car that’ll be sold at auction, well, it’s pretty unique as the winning bidder will be able to select from all factory options offered and have the exclusive opportunity to choose a custom exterior paint color to make this Demon 170 one-of-one and stand out above all the others.

Dodge has made sure to save this Demon 170 for the special sale occasion at Barrett-Jackson, as all the hammer price proceeds will benefit Krisi House. Krisi House is a charity that provides treatment, advocacy, and coordination of services, within a healing environment, for all forms of child trauma, with an ongoing dedication to prevention education and training.
