FORD RANGER RAPTOR EXPECTED TO COST $1,100 A MONTH OR MORE

The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor gives people plenty of reasons to get excited. The midsize Baja-inspired truck is finally in North America, and with more off-road performance than ever before, we’re sure it’s high on the list of dream cars for many people. However, with a starting price of $56,960 with destination, it’s not cheap, which means monthly payments won’t be either, especially with current interest rates.

2024 Ford Ranger Raptor Financing: Details

CarsDirect says the cheapest 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor can cost over $1,100 a month. Its current price is $22,800, more expensive than the cheapest Ranger you can buy ($34,160 for the XL 4×2). It’s significantly more affordable than the Bronco Raptor if you want some added justification for your purchase. You get the same power as the Bronco at 405 ponies under the hood, and the truck is also lighter.

While Ford doesn’t offer any deals on the Ranger Raptor, Ford does have estimated payments online. Ford estimates a payment of $1,016 monthly based on a 7% interest rate for 60 months after a 10% down payment. With no money down, that bumps up to $1,128. However, 7% interest is pretty optimistic, and the number will likely be higher when completing your purchase at the dealership this summer.

For those that might decide to extend the payment to 72-month financing, the price could drop to $972 a month. However, with high interest on a 6-year loan, that could equal up to $70,000 by the time you get the vehicle paid off, and by that point, the truck won’t be worth that hefty price tag. So, something to keep in mind when deciding to make your purchase.

The Ford Ranger Raptor will be produced in significantly fewer numbers than the standard trucks and can command a hefty premium. For example, the Bronco Raptor saw markups of up to $25,000 which could also play into the overall purchase of this magnificent vehicle. But it’s safe to say that the Ranger Raptor isn’t cheap. Though, nothing is with our current economy.
