MUSCLE CAR DEALS FOR JULY 2023

We’re approaching the end of an era, as the V8 will be removed from most muscle cars. The Dodge Challenger and Charger will no longer be produced in their current form, and for 2024, the Chevrolet Camaro will no longer be built. That leaves the Ford Mustang as the last V8 muscle car on the market. But, despite that, Ford, Dodge, and Chevy all have some summer incentives for their sought-after muscle cars. This article details the latest muscle car deals for July 2023.

Chevy Camaro July 2023 Deals

Chevrolet has been offering some pretty sweet lease options for the Camaro for a while now, and things continue to be in buyers’ favor this month. If you’re in the market for one of these epic, low-visibility vehicles, you could get a 2023 Coupe LT1 for just $279/month for a 24-month lease. It is an ultra-low-mileage lease and only available for “well-qualified” lessees. This means not everyone will be able to snag this deal. Eligible current Lessees will have to put $5,179 down at signing (after all offers). But there’s a $0 security deposit. As for mileage, anything over 20,000 is a charge of $0.25/mile, which can add up quickly. Alternatively, if you have cash, you can purchase a 2023 Chevrolet Camaro and get a whopping $750 in return.

As for the 2024 Ford Mustang, the lease deals aren’t available for the V8 trims, but if you’re looking at the EcoBoost, you’re in luck, as that’s the only trim with a lease offer for this month. With $3,678 down at signing, you can get behind the wheel of the basic fastback for $426/month. If you want the premium, you’ll need $4,300 due at signing, and your payments will be $496/month. Want the convertible? That’ll be $4,628 down with $566/month. The premium convertible will need $4,959 down, and your monthly payment will be $605. The security deposit has been waived for these fees as well. But here’s the catch; the lease is only for 10,500 Annual miles for 48 months, which is 21,000 miles for two years. If you want any trim above the EcoBoost, you won’t get ahold of a deal, though you may be able to work something out with your dealership.

Finally, we have the Dodge Charger and Challenger; given that this is the final year of production, the legendary muscle cars aren’t getting any lease deals for this month. That’s fine since most customers will be itching to purchase one of these V8 muscle cars before they’re gone. That said, Dodge is offering a $2,000 retail bonus cash offer for both muscle cars this month, which should add extra incentive and reasoning behind purchasing one (if you’re looking for an excuse).

Why Buy A Muscle Car Now?

Remember that this is the final production year of the Dodge Charger and Challenger in their current forms, so if you act slowly, you may miss your chance to get one new. The same can be said for the Chevy Camaro, though customers still have one more production year before they miss out on getting a high-horsepower, gas-hungry machine. Because these coveted cars are going away, it should help them hold their resale value. So, if you can get your hands on the right one (with a V8, duh!), you could make out pretty well when it comes time for a trade-in.
