Ingredients for 6 pieces:

6 slices of puff pastry (frozen), à 45 g
6 apple slices (core cut out, approx. 0.5 cm thick)
30 g almond flakes
1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
150 g apricot jam
6 sticks liquorice herb

Preparation:

1. Defrost the puff pastry just enough.

2. Place the apple slices on the puff pastry slices and, using a pastry crimper, round them off at a approx. 8-10 mm apart. Press up any overhanging pastry wheels. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

3. Mix the almond flakes with condensed milk and spread on the apple slices. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees (gas mark 3-4, fan oven 180 degrees) for approx. 12-15 minutes.

4. Boil the jam for 2-3 minutes while stirring. Rinse the liquorice herb and finely chop the leaves. Stir the liquorice herb into the jam and brush the apple tartlets with it.
