House Flipper VR Hits PlayStation VR Next Month

By Joseph Allen

Frozen Way has announced that House Flipper VR is making its way to PlayStation VR next month.

House Flipper VR is hitting PS VR on August 11th, bringing the much-loved home renovation sim to the PS4 and its virtual reality headset.

Bear in mind this is a release for PS VR and not PS VR2, and since PS VR games aren't compatible with PS VR2, you'll need an original PS VR headset to play House Flipper VR on PlayStation.

If you've got one, though, you'll be able to check out a revamped version of House Flipper built specifically for VR, complete with "redefined" mechanics and plenty of renovations to complete.

As well as renovating homes, you can also look forward to a variety of minigames, including basketball, darts, and remote-controlled car racing.

Of course, if you don't want to engage with silly frippery like that, there's also lots of renovation to be done, and you can get stuck into activities like painting, cleaning, and wall puttying with an added layer of immersion thanks to PlayStation VR.

It's also worth noting that this isn't a simple re-release of House Flipper in VR; rather, it's a redesigned version of the game, so even if you've already played and enjoyed House Flipper, you may well find something new to love in this VR version.

If you're looking to pick up House Flipper VR on PS4, you're going to need a PS VR headset and a PlayStation Camera, so make sure you've got the right equipment before you make your purchase.

House Flipper VR comes to PlayStation VR via PS4 on August 11th. You can wishlist the game on the PlayStation Store right here.

The original version of House Flipper is also available on PS4, and that one can be played on PS5 thanks to backwards compatibility as well.
