Potato gratin with marjoram

Ingredients for 4 people:

800 g jacket potatoes from the day before
200 ml vegetable broth (instant)
160 ml cream
200 g Gruyère, grated
1 teaspoon marjoram, dried
Some fresh red chili rings (or chili flakes)
1 sprig fresh marjoram

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2. Slice the potatoes and put them in a baking dish.

3. Boil the vegetable broth with the cream, melt half of the grated cheese in it and add the marjoram and chili.

4. Pour over the layered potatoes, sprinkle the remaining cheese and bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve decorated with fresh marjoram.

Serve with a green salad.
