Trump Wins Iowa

President Donald Trump clinched a victory in the Iowa caucuses on Monday night, further solidifying his trajectory path the Republican Party’s presidential nomination. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are battling for the second place.

Despite facing various legal challenges, civil and criminal, former President Trump has demonstrated a significant lead over the other GOP candidates by securing the votes of men, women, older voters, and younger voters. Notably, he managed to improve on his 2016 performance within all of these demographic groups. He was successful in attractibing conservative voters, particularly focused on issues related to immigration and the economy.
