2024 FORD MUSTANG GT3 RACE CAR LIVERIES HAVE BEEN VERY GOOD SO FAR

The Ford Mustang GT3 was unveiled on the eve of the 100th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This incredible race car is slated to race in the FIA GT3 class this year, going head to head with the likes of the C8 Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The GT3 Features a 5.4-liter engine that makes “around” 500 horsepower, along with a slew of other modifications to make it ready to take on just about any track; the GT3 Ford Mustang race car is a glorious creation. Now, Ford has just dropped a slew of photos revealing what the liveries will look like once they hit the grid in their respective series.

Starting with identical 55 and 77 Proton cars wearing a blue and green livery. Subtle decals showcase the car’s aerodynamic design, and it looks epic. According to Autoblog, the 55 car will see its first action at the upcoming Rolex 24 at Daytona and then compete in IMSA for the season. Meanwhile, the 77 car will participate in WEC races once that season starts. Ford also stated in the past that Proton would field an entry in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, so we should expect to see the No. 77 hitting Circuit de la Sarthe later this year.

Next is a black and gold Proton Competition car, which will compete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The livery is quite fetching, with a perfect blend of the Black and Gold accents. Finally, there are the Dynamic GT liveries, wearing identical black, green, and white coloring. Both of these Mustangs are slated to take on SRO’s Fanatex GT World Challenge Europe, with the first race at Paul Ricard in April.

This year’s racing season will be epic, especially considering that the car will take on the likes of Porsche and Corvette. If you’ve been wanting to get into racing and are a huge Mustang fan, this year is definitely the year to do it.
